i dont think i would have gotten any offers because im not a very good player atm : ], anywho no one apart from the root guys knew that i was going to leave mtw. the only team that i wanted to join was root because it has a family-like team atmosphere and thats wat ive been desperately craving for in sc2 thus far.. its something that money could never buy |

"Hello everyone o_o, for the most part player interviews are extremely boring so ill lay down some real talk instead of giving a generic statement on how happy i am to join root. Im a player who has alot of pride when it comes to gaming, i love seeing foreigners beat top korean players at big events but ill be honest, as much as it makes me happy i also cant help but to feel a bit envious whenever i see stuff like that happen. I dont play SC2 just to be another forgotten player once my career is over, i want to have my name remembered. My personal goal as a gamer has always been to gain the community's respect and most importantly that of my fellow comrades. The thing with root is that its more of a family as opposed to a team, ive known alot of the members for a long time and theyre very close friends of mine. Im positive that surrounding myself with alot of my brothers will help give me the extra boost that i need to achieve my goals.
We're currently in the process of building up our team but i can promise you that once we have all our wheels rolling we'll make a name for ourselves not only in the NA scene but in the international scene aswell. Please keep supporting ROOT and all of our players! I promise we won't let you down, luv u guys <3"
Very respectable statement. Good luck. |

| I hope you don't mind me asking this TT1, but how was the team atmosphere in mTw? Was it hard being the only native English speaker? mTw never participated in team leagues at all, was it like mTw just gave you a salary and left you to your own devices? Did you practice with the other members? |

what kind of results? cuz Vibe already won wcg nationals
I was thinking about team leagues (EG Master's Cup, IPL TAC, etc.). Vibe's result was indeed a good result |

I don't think team league success (within reason) will be much of a problem for Root's current lineup, especially if they actively focus on it. Most top teams slack big time in team leagues, which is understandable given that team leagues (other than GSTL) are still not quite up to the individual league standard / reputation / prize money.
Looking forward to see them play in one though. |

Well everyone in mtw spoke english so that wasnt a problem, when i was in europe i was practicing with dimaga quite a bit but ever since i got back home we havnt been able to practice because of lat issues. Instead all i did was ladder all day long and unfortunately i tend to get extremely demotivated whenever i get into these type of routine's because i start to feel isolated. Laddering all day long is easy if your in a team house because you can interact with other players about the game but doing so alone can be kinda tough depending on the type of player that you are. Everyone reacts to it differently.. i wish i could be a gladiator like kas but sadly i cant control my emotions nor how my brain works, i wish i wasnt such a huge pussy but thats life.
Thats why its important for someone like me to be in a team like ROOT. I could have earned a bit of extra money if i stayed on mtw or another team but i dont think i would have ever had the chance to reach my potential because of the type of player that i am. Whats the point of playing sc2 if im in it for a bit of money? unfortunately that took me a while to figure out ^^
