Not sure if this has been posted on Team Liquid yet, so here goes nothing. Game journalist and hobbyist Starcraft 2 player Brad Shoemaker of GiantBomb interviews Dustin Browder and David Kim in two separate interviews during MLG. Touches on their favourite players, balance for Heart of the Swarm, the fate of the carrier, and more.
What bothers me is they don't say how to deal with 'Abduct'. They say the replicator was bad because it was ruining unit diversity and what not, but 'Abduct' is just destroying the much needed units in a protoss or terran army. It's causing a similar problem as replicants imho.
Suggestion: Abduct can't pull massive units. That's a good start imho.
It bugs me so much how Browder keeps saying the only reason they think the Carrier should stay is "because it's core and people think it's core to the race" but then they don't build it.
Yeah, no one builds it beacuse it's a god awful unit until you have 25 of them. Why remove it when you have not even tried to balance it. Doesn't make sense to me.
No one uses BC's, but when they do they're actually filling a role they should be. Though for protoss, the VR + storm are much more efficient than a carrier. That is sort of a problem in my mind ><

I still don't get why they can't just increase carrier range to 22 and dull the damage. Dustin Browder said he can just go to his desk and in 5 minutes change the range of the tempest to something lower, so why not do that to the carrier?

Odd. He mentions at the end there that Entomb doesn't give an alert.
It did at the HOTS demo at MLG. Wonder if they've already finalized that decision. IMO, entomb would be too good if it didn't have that alert attached to it.

Wow really good interview indeed! Only thing I didn't like that was said was about introducing attack-move units into the game. High skill cap units = fun to watch and play.
