[ESEA S11] Playoffs UR2/LR1 and Recap

The first round of matches has finished and four teams now contend to make the Winner's Finals while four other teams compete to avoid elimination in the Loser's Bracket. Let's take this time to briefly recap the previous games, then give predictions for the Upper Round 2 and Loser's Round 1 games.

Upper Round 1 Recap

Result: iG 1-3 LighT

A great match here between two closely matched teams, and this is a nice win for LighT as this will propel them into Upper Round 2 of Playoffs. The match was actually surprisingly close. DDE managed to 2-0 binskiLighT, but every match after that was a 2-1 score, with Caliber taking out STX, Golden taking out HwangSin, and Kawaii taking out ostojiy. It's Gosu drops to the Lower Round 1 but, in my opinion, out of all the teams down there so far, they have the best chance at making it out.

Upper Round 2 Predictions

(1) Infinity Seven vs LighT eSports (4)
Prediction: iS 3-1 LighT

Infinity Seven continues to go on a tear throughout ESEA and other events as well, and their consistently strong play has continued to serve them well in ESEA. LighT is definitely the caliber of a team that could defeat Infinity Seven, and their recent win against It's Gosu gives them some strong morale and momentum heading into this match read more . . .

Yea! gogogo iS fighting! I hope we prove your predictions right but it's going to be a tough fight. Luckily iS is a bit zerg heavy and Light is a bit terran heavy so at the moment I'd say that gives us an edge : p
