long story short. in about a month or 2 i will be looking to get a new ride. my current interests are either a 4door import car. like a scion tc, however that car is not 4door. I use to have a 2003 celica with the TRD racing kit on it and i loved its look. also had a quad cab colorado xtreme. loved that truck. there all low riding vehicals. I want that agian but i simply dont know what all cars/trucks look badass anymore. anyone got any suggestions of some cool rides that i may be interested in. keep it under 15k not lookin for a new ride. or if u just got a suggestion ill look for something of that model thats within my price range. thanks for your time and opinions! car or truck,
even 2door cars are welcome to suggest! |

Out of curiosity, do you just want opinions on what cars and trucks look badass, or someone who knows a shit ton about cars?
For example, I've had a Mitsubishi Lancer GTS for 5 years now, it still looks and runs as if it were brand new, never had any problems with it (63K miles now), and I think it looks pretty nice. This is pretty much my car via Google Image:
+ Show Spoiler +
But I don't know shit about cars in general, although you should know it's only 4-cylinder... so if you're looking for a lot of power, you're not going to get it.
There are also surely some helpful car threads around here...
(Also... blog?)
EDIT: When I got it new it was about 18K if you don't include all the fancy extra shit I got on it, so if you're looking for used ones by now, it should fit your budget easily. Last edit: 2012-06-22 05:20:48 |

With a 15k budget, you can never go wrong with a Miata and upgrade parts, if you want to drive like a go cart in traffic.
If you want to be more economical grown up, can't beat the Honda fit. Hyundai veloster gets good reviews but not sure if around 15k |

| Get a Certified Pre Owned if you plan on spending more than $10,000. You build credit, you get a newer car with a warranty. You can probably get a CPO VW Jetta or GTI for around that price if you look hard enough. You can definitely get a CPO accord Last edit: 2012-06-22 05:20:44 |

I prefer the new excitebike, it's efficent, cheap and can get you big jumps up and down hills.

| It also depends if you want to buy a new car or a used one. If a used one is ok, i would look out for a BMW 3 series. Really good cars. |

| Get a cobalt SS. I got an 06 for under 15k, with only 35k miles on it. 2.0 super charge, with a few bolt ons I got it up to 250 HP while getting 25/33 city/hw miles. It's so fucking nice lol |

| the lancer is awesome. i forgot about that car. it can be a 4 cylinder no problem. i just want it to look cool. I'm not looking for a professional opinion. Im a recently divorced single dad, 27 years old and i need a car. im not going to get the first good deal with low miles like my parents would suggest. I need something the ladies wouldnt mind riding in but also fits my style. like the lancer, celica, xtreme. not a 2 seater car... hopefully a 4 door but ill take extended cab trucks if its similar to the s10 extreme. pic links are awesome. |

4door import, sporty, choice is obvious:
lancer (evo) or impreza or legacy
you can get evo or sti with high miles or you can get wrx for around 15k with decent miles, ~70,000 miles or less. years 2005 to 2007. not sure how the 2008+ go for.
if you're looking to spend ~20k, you'll be able to find a decent 2005 sti with low miles, around 50k. but you'll have to shop around on craigslist as good deals dont come around often. i searched 6 months to find my sti, it was killer deal. be patient and shop smart.
to shop for subarus, check forums like i-club.com and nasioc.com and craigslist.
note: 2004 and 2005 sti, though they may look the same, there are differences. try to go for 2005 instead. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/faq-newbie-forum/24963-list-differences-between-2004-2005-sti.html
note #2: you can safely install remote start system in this car, and some other subaru models because they have neutral sensor (shifter in neutral) at the ecm. the car wont start using remote start unless its not in gear.Last edit: 2012-06-22 06:51:05 |

V6 Mustang sounds like a good match for you. Should easily be able to get a used one for under $15,000. Nice power. Big room up front and has a usable back seat for kids/junk/short people.
Stay away from anything turbo/supercharged. It sounds like you have no knowledge about cars so you'd probably destroy your turbo :x |

it is, why not just calling cars cars instead of some stupid slang word, this is a pretty international site and many of us don't use english in their everyday life so it would be kind to use the correct words |

| Well, even though it's not a 4 door, a Toyota Scion FR-S looks nice, 2 of my buddies just recently financed theirs. However, a 15k budget does kind of limit you for newer cars, guess you got to look more for certified pre-owned ones. Last edit: 2012-06-22 06:55:11 |
