I never had one on my bus but I think the idea is, when you have a crowded bus filled with children the bus driver may not be able to adequately supervise the children. If they fight or have some other type of problem, having an adult on the bus who isn't driving can be very helpful. |

| This is crazy and anyone thats human cannot JUST IGNORE these stupied comments no matter how mature you are because it still hurts to be told things like this.They are only children REALLY I remember when I was young like them I never talked to people like this my momma raised me to respect others. Dont make excuses for them they do know better, at least my 6year knows better.But lets keep making excuses for these kids so they dont learn anything from it.Their parents should deff teach their kids about respect and hopefully this is a eye opener to them to do something about this. |

A bus monitor who can't do their job and cries within thirty seconds of getting bullied by kids does not deserve any respect. She must earn the kids respect, not expect respect. And you want them to get it the same as they gave it? The kids have gotten is far worse than the old lady. Did the kids threaten to kill her, thousands of times in a day? I don't think so. Do you really think these kids should die?
Actually the kids did threaten to kill her, several times. Clearly you didn't even watch the video and are just a dumbass. Short of actually being killed, the kids deserve everything happening to them right now. They were even stupid enough to not only film this shit, but upload it to show others what they did.
Also, your logic that she needs to earn the right to NOT be bullied, is sickening.

| This is sad, but what's even more sad is that young teenagers (who are much more fragile) are the victims of this every single day. The only way to do anything about it is to try and change ppl's attitudes. I'm sure there were other ppl there who could've stepped in, and the students who were just acting as followers could have done something as well. |

| I think this whole situation turned out rather well. The victim was well compensated, the attackers were well punished, and millions of people were exposed to what children are capable of when in a setting with their peers. I'm sure the exposure this situation recieved will in some way lead to prevention of this type of thing in the future (whether it be by parenting, or by observation by children). |

Well, this is what you get if there is no social control and no real parenting.
This is what humans really are without civilisation and culture. Humans aren't kindhearted by nature, but only if they first are forced to behave as children, and later as adults understand that respect and well-behaving is the foundation of any working society.
btw: It's not just respect towards the elderly. Any human being, that is respecting its next deserves the same respect.
