The IGN Pro League is proud to announce a partnership with Hot Import Nights! Our first event will take place alongside the Hot Import Nights at the LA Convention Center in Los Angeles, California on July 7th, 2012. The event is for all ages from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with tickets costing $25 at www.hotimportnights.com. However, if you use the code “IPL” you will receive $5 off your online pre-sale tickets!
The IPL will be running a four player StarCraft II tournament with $10,000 in prizes on the line. Our players for the tournament are MVP.DongRaeGu, SlayerS`MMA, Liquid`HerO, and Quantic.Illusion! The tournament will be double elimination format, with first place taking home $5,000. Second will take $2,500, third $1,500, and fourth $1,000!
Gran Turismo 5 for the Sony Playstation 3 will also be on site, as gamers and racers will be able to compete for prizes at the event!
Hot Import Nights at the LA Convention Center will feature over 300 custom show cars there to compete for top honors and bragging rights along with many multi-million dollar exotic cars. DJ DBLCRSSED and DJ Cappa Regime will be featured on the electronic dance music main stage and the Muc-Off model lounge features over 100 industry models and new faces. This is a pretty cool idea I have Been to a Hot Import Nights in LA when i was in high school But idk i would drive to 2 hours to LA for IPL but not if its in the same Room as HIN.

This sounds epic I really hope there will be many more of these in the future! :D Illusion has a good chance to takes some games and win a series or two but I'm going to be rooting for HerO to take it all!
