| I usually play by myself, but would rather get to play with the same people on my team. I went into the teamliquid channel and it didn't seem like anybody was interested in playing a pub or even responding. It kinda sucks to have to play with random people everytime and I don't know if people are going to play their roles. Is there a channel where you can just go and see if anybody is up for joining up into a party (even of 2 people)? Is anybody interested in making small pub teams or is it just me? |

Play games. If you find someone who you enjoy playing with or is decent, ask em to play another game with you. 9/10 you will hate them and they will suck. 9/10 of those people you don't hate will never play with you after that night. But do it long enough and you will get a good one who you really enjoy playing with. You will keep it up and make a good friend in the process. Sure it sounds silly but that is how I met a majority of my dota friends.
If you are decent, I suggest looking for stacks of similar skill levels as well. The same rules apply though, you will probably mostly meet people you cant stand with the rare exception being someone you really like. |

I've played stacks in the teamliquid chat, it happens from time to time, and I'm not even good or have many wins, some people are just cool with you joining in. I also stay in Sweden a lot (obviously only useful for swedes) where it's decently easy to find stacks to play with.
Overall though, It can be difficult. Everyone WANTS to stack, but they obviously want to stack with people BETTER than themselves, not worse players. |
