Damn, 130 people recommend Squirtle v. MC. Even though I'm depressed that Squirtle lost, I may have to watch that. This past week was an epic one for SC2.

A thought tho: In GSL there's at least Bo3's and far from always there's usually 1 good game in the set, while the other 1 or 2 might not be as good/entertaining. This list in OP doesn't say if the recommendations were for the whole set or a specific game in the set. For example, game 2 and 3 MKP vs viOlet were both awesome, but their match is only mentioned once, and not specified which/if all games were good or not.

I understand what you're saying.
When I recommend GSL matches I typically link to the first in the series. You are saying this can be misleading as there might only be one good game in the series.
However, I link to the first game in the series to try to preserve as much of the original the viewer experience as possible. Sometimes recommended match 2 or 3 is only be good if you saw the first game(s) . Or, if game 3 is recommended then the outcome of the first two are already spoiled.
I am not sure how the community feels, but I do link to the original GSL LR thread so people who only want to watch the specific recommended matches can find it themselves and watch. |

For the NSHFreaky vs STBomber match, I couldn't find where the number "18 People Recommended" came from. The game 2 was indeed great match, so I must add my vote for it!
The poll of the game 2 of the match is somewhat fancy and could be misleading because of 89 votes for "MY EYES! WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH?!!?!?!?". Are they counted for "yes" or not? |
