I would rather not brag about it so it doesn't mess with my psychology in the first place Been doing well recently.
The truth is - I've got about an hour a day to play and I've been playing 1 hour a day on average since release. Can't really quit my job or take time off because I love it (if you ever get an opportunity to do post grad - don't miss it!). So I'm stuck to certain GAH practices. I don't want to do it on RMAH to avoid calling for trouble and enjoy good night sleep. I get enough real money stress on financial markets. I'm playing dolls with my sorc, got her a cosmetic armor today, painted it all in infernal red. I'm not speculating on infernal dye, don't get the idea she honestly looks beautiful.Last edit: 2012-07-08 02:07:55 |

I'd take the 2nd option rofl.
I wouldn't call 15-20 bucks a legit job as far as being able throw 250 bucks on a in game video purchase Unless u have no bills and live in your moms basement

where on earth do you live? |

| I guess its all relative to your location, I live in NYC/ moving to new jersey so I can buy a home where 15 bucks/hr won't get you very far even with 3 roommates, which I would not Want after 4 years of roommates in college was more then enough |

$15 / hr * 40 hr / week * 50 weeks / year (2 weeks left over for vacation) = $30,000 Not a ton of money to be sure, but plenty of people can make end meet on that amount. Consider that after taxes you'll have somewhere ~21k. So if you spend $600 / month on rent ( you'll either need roommates or to live outside of a major downtown area), that'll consume $7200, leaving you with about $13.8k to feed / cloth / have fun, actually pretty easy if you're just a single male. If you have a family though that amount of money can be tough. |

My experience is that plenty of young people wildly underestimate their expenses. You can't neglect retirement savings even starting your first ever full-time job. People can save money living outside of an urban area but the usual tradeoff is having to spend more money on a car. That includes gas, maintenance, insurance, registration and various other fees.
Then there is the normal wear and tear of clothing, unless your place of work allows employees to dress like bums. Utilities are usually also forgotten. Toiletries and other minor stuff can add up.
That said, with how terrible D3's drops are, many people would be better off taking overtime at work rather than farming if they are going for efficiency. I'm very sure that if I was offered overtime, I would have much more powerful items doing so rather than farming for stuff on my own. |
