viOlet changed his twitter name from empireviolet to sc2violet, which in the past for many progamers has indicated leaving their team. i think it's safe to assume that viOlet has left empire. I wonder what team he'll join?

Actually, I am viOLet's personal manager and have been since November 2011 when he attended the CSN Training Camp. For those of you that don't know his story, I recommend watching this
To clear up any speculation, viOLet's contract has ended with Empire, and as of now he is a free agent. We are reviewing his opportunities for sponsorship, both with teams and as an independent.
I want it to be known that there is also a possibility that he re-signs with Empire. I will release a full statement when we have a better idea of his future plans.
Also, I want to state Empire has been a really awesome team for viOLet regardless if he re-signs or not. There is no problems or issues between viOLet and them.
Empire.StrangeR - head sc2 coordinator of Team Empire:
Contract of viOLet expired yesterday and he is free agent now. I was very surprise, when read Andrew's statement, but he had right to do it even without approvement with Team Empire. I supposed, if viOLet decided to leave, we must do official announcement, instead this rumors.
We are thinking about offering to viOLet new contract, but there are other possibilities to add new players in Team Empire. As Andrew told, there is a chance to resign contract with viOlet too, it will depend of both side wishes.
I want to emphasize, that there is no problems between Team Empire and viOlet. We are grateful to him for his great work and victories for Team Empire. We wish to him good luck and new victories!
It appears that viOlet will not re-sign with Empire, and that Empire has already found a player to replace viOlet. From EmpireStrangeR's twitter:
Good luck to my friend, @SC2viOLet, in search of a new home. The new player of Team Empire will be announced this week
hmm he could have jsut changed it just incase he left violet or he got kicked out some people had there stream names changed to just there name insteand of there team and then name just incase they left the team or got kicked

Or like many cases they were told not to till the team who picked them up was ready to release the information and make it public. Team frequently do that so not really sure why you would think it could only be he isn't on a team.
I'm pretty sure he won't be joining a Korean team. He's said he prefers to stay in the US and that he's only staying in Korea for as long as he stays in GSL/OSL. With his level of English, its very likely that he'll easily be able to get on a foreign team which pays him a salary. As far as I know, MVP don't really pay a salary (I might be mistaken, given the recent influx of sponsors for MVP).
