I think I know how to do math, let me help you out.
From the top link I posted.
The materials that you need for 1 glove: 28 Exquisite Essence 5 Iridescent Tears 8 tome of secrets
The cost for 1 glove is: -110k gold with your materials (including the cost for crafting) -165k gold with my materials ( including the cost for crafting)
So, 110k gold for one glove from this random guy.
Now to your costs. 200k with materials for one glove.
200k - 110k = 90k gold I save by using that particular random guy. Therefore, my basic math seems to indicate
random battlenet guy > D3Sanc.

When there's people out there doing it for 1/10th of the price you are charging it doesn't matter how much cheaper it gets in higher quantities... |

If people want to spend the time to add me, join my game, trade me, have me craft ONE glove, trade them back... Then yes, it's 200k.
Ok, so now let's say you want 50 gloves made. You give mats + 5m (100k per glove). Random BNet guy chargest 110k per, which is 5.5m. He's still cheaper though, right?
Anyways, I don't really care if you guys agree with my prices or not. I've crafted tons of gloves, and will continue to do so. The higher crafting cost is to deter people from only crafting a couple of gloves. Because, not only is it a waste of our time, but they will most likely not even make their money back off of it (although it's not impossible). |

Basically, not to be too rude, but do some research before posting stuff like this. Charging 200k for a single glove when the current going price is about 110-120k per glove with materials is just ludicrous.
And having to get to 50 freaking gloves to actually be cheaper than random Bnet person is hardly a great advertisement. I'll GUARANTEE that if I show up to random bnet guy and order 50 gloves and ask for 5 mil instead of 5.5, he's going to take that in a second.Last edit: 2012-07-02 22:10:43 |

| Like I said, doesn't matter if you agree or not. I still get crafters. Just because you don't like my prices, doesn't mean everybody thinks the same way you do. People know what it costs to craft them, and if they want to pay the prices, they will. I know what others craft them for, and that's cool for them. But I am not them. My time is obviously more valuable than theirs. |

LOL, OK. Best of luck to you then. Probably the only reason people craft from you is because they don't know people do it for literally half the cost. |

| Well, the usual craft amount is 10-20 pairs. So that means (with my prices) they would be paying 1.4m or 2.4m. Half the cost eh? There's people out there who will craft 10 pairs for 700k, and 20 pairs for 1.2m? Link me to their threads, cuz I'll have them make me TONS of pairs. Odd that people don't mind losing money crafting for others... |

| D3Sanc, stop arguing youve made your point. You are more expensive then some others, but if people wanna get crafting done by you then good for you. End of discussion. Last edit: 2012-07-02 22:54:18 |

Your math and logic is AMAZING.
Let me help you out again.
You: 10 gloves for 1.4 million. 1,400,000/10 = 140k per craft. 20 gloves for 2.4 million. 2,400,000/20 = 120k per craft.
Random bnet guys: 20 gloves, 2.2 million. 2,200,000/10 = 110k per craft.
Yep, still going with random bnet guys.
TLDR/Math is hard: You are not cheaper, even in bulk.
And to what above guy said, if you can still get people to pay you to craft for them, good on you. But don't try and pretend you're cheaper than other people, even in bulk.Last edit: 2012-07-02 23:17:04 |
