| The fact that Silva had vaseline wiped off of him before the fight is disgraceful enough. Sure he may be respectful after the fight. But putting an illegal substance on your body is still wrong. Sonnen Is a piece of shit as well for the amount of disrespect he's spat out. |

So it's been well over a year since I watched a UFC event but I just had to see this fight -- anyway, when did the ridiculous amount of stat-citing become a thing? I've always hated ESPN's tendency to do this and the UFC is.

| If you want to argue about grabbing shorts (which is really the only legitimate complaint) you could also argue that chael hit anderson in the back of the head multiple times. In any case, minor things in the big picture all things considered. No one gets bitched at when they hold onto the fence after a fight. Stuff like that has always been a ridiculous whine in any sport, in the same way people whined about jordan pushing off for a game winner. |

| Nazgul, the gif clearly shows the knee to the solar plexus...a brutal place to take such a shot. The real question is why did Chael remain sitting down? Getting up seems scary since he could have get 'picked off' by Silva as he got up but... there's always the option of laying flat on your back and raising arms/legs. He pinned himself against the cage and stood there...almost begging to be killed. |

He made a mistake and it cost him. Happens all the time.
He's still done the best vs anderson out of anyone else, weak division is really weak.
Really disappointing fight, neither fighter did what they said they would. Both walked out looking like they had just had a light sparing at the gym. |

I think he froze. It was such a stupid move I doubt he ever got it into his system with an automated response. Should definitely have gotten up his chin can take a decent amount of punishment. |

Every fighter on the ufc goes down in weight to fit their division, (apart from heavyweights), anyway, Anderson would be putting his record in a serious jeopardy, something i doubt he will want to do seeing he has what, 2 more UFC fights? Could happen, if White offers him an ridiculous amount of cash.
