| Get a usb to ps/2 adapter and use the ps/2 port on your mobo. |

Should be in your manual for how to reset the CMOS chip or whatever they call it these days.
Forewarning: if you don't know what your BIOS settings need to be to boot up, ignore this post.
Old school: Unplug PC from wall Pull the battery from the board Wait AT LEAST 5 minutes. I would say 15 minimum. Leave the battery out, plug in, power on, try to get in.
Put the battery back in ONLY if the computer is unplugged. Also try to have dry, clean fingers when handling the battery. You may need to use a tool to get the battery out. Go with something non-conductive.

| If you are holding the button before the keyboard registers, the computer wont recognize that you have the button pushed done. You just have to tap it repeatedly, or at least that's they way it was for me. |
