so I watched cloud play two impressive tvz's in a row. He defeated Paranoid and narrowly lost to Nerchio. His game vs Nerchio involved a marine hellion medivac pressure at odd timing (9:50) but the macro-oriented goals of his builds were similar.
He goes for a relatively quick 3rd CC, either before or after reactor hellion. No banshees, instead the gas goes into quick tanks and upgrades. He adds two more factories as the third is going up.
Vs ultras (vs paranoid) his army kept getting hurt as it usually does in lategame tvz when ultras keep ramming into your line. But with the three factories he kept making more and more tanks.
vs broods (nerchio) he could have won if he didnt waste so much money on kinda useless thors. but he went thor heavy.
I think adding 3 facs as your third is going up is a good idea, and maybe even a 2nd armory. I think its a bunch of small tweaks like this that will make tvz more comfortable again.
What do you think of investing in this infrastructure? Should it only be done vs someone you think is going ultra (seeing as how the thors/tanks were useless vs broods even when nerchio's econ wasn't great).

I think it was just poor response from cloud... I dont understand why he didnt transtion into ravens (and its not like they are completely useless vs switches to ultras) So the style is nice however clouds lategame needs some tweaking
