I find it quite too early. I mean, what's the fun in seeing BW pros still working on BW for the last OSL being dismantled by GSL participants who train SC2 full time ? I don't mean any disrespect for the like of Flash, Stork, Bisu, etc. but I'm sure they're not yet at the GSL "skill" on SC2 (though I can't wait for the day it'll come).
Well, let's see if it comes with anything worth, but I'm pretty worried about this... !
The BW -> SC2 transition is a very hot topic, it must be handled with extreme care i think....Last edit: 2012-07-05 17:09:28 |

Wow, kespa is really fuckign with their players. First making them play both games and now making them play pure sc2 pros already without enough practice O_O
I guarantee the kespa players arent happy about thisLast edit: 2012-07-05 17:35:31 |

| This is fun event, stop overdramatizing this. Yes there will be some pride on the line but in the end it won't be end of the world for any of those players if they lose. No one did when they lost to noname amateurs on bnet attacks in BW and they won't when they lose to pros in SC2. |

To most of people who think SC1 players will get destroyed. In the beginning i been saying, don't over hype these guys its a new game to them they aren't going to master it for awhile. But if people have been watching the Proleague you see a instant/drastic improvement to there players. Coaches and players say things such as give us a 1 year and we will become GREAT but lets be honest here, they don't need 1 year they are being modest, taking the pressure off themselves, and also telling people to calm down/relax. What has now happened? Close to everyone thinks these SC:BW players will get OWNED by SC2 pros, people dont even know how long they been training for couldve been months to a year you think they will be telling everyone the truth?
my prediction effort is gonna be the rising star of the sc:bw players and show everyone what it truly takes to play zerg. |

This is like in the movies where a rookie fighting protagonist is faced vs the biggest competition, gets face rolled, just to become the best after huge life revelations and practice times.
This is the story of Flash. |

You've not seen the MLG KeSPA invitationnal, have you ?
I truly enjoyed it, had nerd chills every single game, and I was very happy with the level of play i've seen. Though, you could still see their play did not match with the mid-tier/top-tier SC2 pro's (just watch Stork/Bisu placing FF, it wasn't very good).
I agree that they'll catch up quickly, and probably faster than what people may think, but just not while they're playing the OSL. It just not possible.
I don't know how we could rank them among all the SC2 progamers, but surely not as high as GSL participants... |

GSL is free.

| The best KESPA players at SC2 are probably Code A level already. I've seen some KESPA players make better "strategical" decisions than players at Code A level. Where the KESPA players are weaker is at the micro and tactical level, familiarity with the SC2 units, and familiarity with the SC2 interface. |

It would be hilarious to see some Stargate-heavy play from Ps, and I know what you're doing. |

Considering many of them have reached GM level on Korea server, you don't seem to know what you are talking about.
when ? 1-2 weeks ago i read in interview with ktf that they only have 1 and other teams still have none ...
best kespa player still no chance vs normal code b/a gamer so final would be gsl vs gsl ... still way to early |

It's not for money or anything. It's just a series of exhibition matches. Don't see why they would be angry, they already play a lot of the SC2 pros on ladder anyway and they'll have to play them in the OSL eventually. Last edit: 2012-07-05 19:15:00 |
