After the initial confusion, group selection went as follows:

The top 4 players by wins and mapscore of the first group stage were put in groups A through D in alphabetical order:

A: (Z)

SaSe
C:

Sleep
D:

YongHwa

Next the other four top 1 finishers of the first group stage randomly drew their groups:

A: (Z)

IdrA /

Happy
B:

SaSe /

Nerchio
C: (Z)

Sleep /

MC
D:

YongHwa /

Mvp

Next all of the second place finishers of the first group stage randomly drew their groups, drawing again whenever they drew a group with a player they had played before in the first group stage:
