Nova- (ShuiGuo), a retired Chinese Dota player who has played on famous teams like CaNt shows off one of the classic heroes in Dota 2, SF. Having three 300 damage skillshots that have high requirements of the player's positioning, and possessing the ability to farm faster than any other hero in the game (with the exception of an AM with Battlefury), this hero's unique mix of elegance and efficiency make him one of the funnest heroes to play in the game and once upon a time, a key part of every competitive solo mid player's repertoire. Personally I'd rather watch DK.BurNIng play QoP. I've matched up against Nova twice while solo queuing and he didn't seem too good (he missed last hits and got denied while having a lane that should have been free farm for him: Viper + Spectre (him) against a solo Ogre Magi (Dire) bot).

It might be the case that Chinese pub players love ganking (think YaphetS), but they buckle down when there's money on the line. Of course it could be that Nova's just a gank-oriented player, so no amount of ganking will ever satisfy him. Thus the grass always seems greener on the other side and he looks back at China with fond memories.
I think its because most Western players have their egos invested to some extent event when playing pubs - winning at all costs. There's generally not a whole lot of trust between pubs doing things right meaning farming seems like the better option. This is a vicious circle because players don't learn how to properly control their heroes and position themselves properly because there are fewer engagements. Lastly you could probably argue that the intelligence of the average player in a chinese pub game is higher than that of a western one.
I'm surprised to hear the obliviousness towards Morphs items. It's seems obvious when you play QoP the way he does + you have a buddy on Furion there's limited space available for Morph to get items.

Another Korean user on TL also mentioned they sounded like they were really entertaining similar to Korean BW casters when he heard me describe Chinese casters in another thread.

Nah it was pretty funny.
The captain enchant giving orders all the time that he couldn't understand, and the over dramatic phrasing of everything like I'm gonna buy a gem cause I'm a man of my word. I thought the standard of play was a little low, didn't seem like the highest tier pubs, but still good fun to watch with commentary.
