The z33k Partnership program is all about expanding and improving the E-sports and the communities. We decided to create this so more communities involve themselves into participating aswell as creating tournaments on z33k. We also wanted to give the communities the chance in improving and some day maybe go viral. If you are interested in becoming a community admin please check this post: Link Contact Verax@z33k.com if you are intressted!
The benefits of this program will be: - Listed as a z33k sponsored event - Better publicity - "Trusted Tournament tag" - Admin support at any time needed - We also offer casting on z33k.tv
3. Partnership Program Eligibility
#1 Consistency in starting your events on time. In the past 30 days, there shouldn’t be any tournaments that the admin did not start. Also, for those who host tournaments on a regular basis, z33k would like to see a minimum of 5 events started on time.
#2 it´s a must that your events be linked to a group. for example, the NA dailies are linked to the NA daily group page. the BSG likewise, Alt-starcraft, etc…
#3 Must have a Banner – a tournament with a unique and nicely dressed banner always gets more attention than a tournament that doesn’t. gross/obscene/derogatory images are pretty much unquestionably no no’s. and might get you banned from z33k altogether.
#4 To join the z33k run tournaments you need to publish your tournament in the Teamliquid tracker and websites like reddit etc.
#5 At least 1 tournament/qualifier a month.
#6 Must demonstrate a high level of commitment by one or more of the following: - serve a dedicated community, for instance Polish, Russia, French or other separate communities (Teams might also be included) - host events that are consistently popular among players - provide prizing
4. Requirements to stay a partner
#1 If your admins are in anyway bad mannered towards the players then there will occur an investigation and might result in some kind of punishment towards the organization (example: removed from z33k event section or banning the admin either temporary or permanent depending on the harassment)
#2 Late starts: A late start tournament is a tournament that had brackets generated 20 or more minutes after the posted start time. If the tournament is using the check-in feature, check-in must be started no later than 20 minutes after the posted start time, and the check-in period must not be longer than 10 minutes. This does not include instances where the tournament faces technical problems, or has been reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. The monthly cycle is based on calendar months. Your late tournament count is reset on the 1st of every month. Allowed number of late-starts per month: - If you host between 1 and 2 tournaments in a month, you are not allowed any late-starts per month. - If you host between 3 and 5 tournaments in a month, you are allowed 1 late-start per month. - If you host between 6 and 10 tournaments in a month, you are allowed 2 late-start per month. - If you host more than 11 tournaments in a month, you are allowed 3 late-start per month.
#3 If a tournament does not get started at all then we will discuss the matter with the tournament organizers which also means that there is a high risk in removing the tournament from the z33k partnership and downgrade it to a community tournament. (This will depend on the reason and the decision made by the team.)
I've been working with the admins at Z33K for over a month now with my I'm Out Already!? series. I've come across nothing but helpful attitudes and a willingness to provide the best tournament experience possible. The admin ToLiveandDie has been particularly beneficial to all of my tournament experiences and is incredibly reliable. I was contacted very soon after I got my tournament series underway and have not been disappointed since. I strongly recommend tournament hosts use Z33K as their base of operations. You guys do a great job.
