Hello everyone !
The GSL and GSTL Finals are approaching, and considering the remaining players and teams, it will be a huge event !
Both finals will be played respectively on Friday July 27th and Saturday July 28th in Busan (Southern city of Korea).

I would like to know if some other TL people either in Korea or to traveling there this month were planning to attend the finals in Busan. If so we can try to organize a meet-up similar to the one we did for the last GSL Final in Seoul.
So if some people are interested in coming, please leave a message and we will try to organize it a bit. I suppose I am not the only one who never went to Busan (I am in Incheon right now), and organizing as a group might be easier

Friday 27th :
Where to meet : Subway Haeundae Station, exit 3
When : Between 3:45pm and 4:15pm, after we shall move toward the Haeundae Beach to grab seats
What to bring : Your most beautiful Starcraft2/Team Liquid/Esport T-shirt, something to drink (non-alcoholic beverage, at least during the matches), a camera, and your entousiasm. For people willing to stay Friday and Saturday, swimming clothes and sun cream might be a plus.
Saturday 28th :
Where to meet : Haeundae beach
When : Between 3:00pm and 3:30pm, after we shall move toward the Haeundae Beach to grab seats
What to bring : Your most beautiful Starcraft2/Team Liquid/Esport T-shirt, something to drink (non-alcoholic beverage, at least during the matches), a camera, and your entousiasm.

IF OSL somehow pulls off a last minute switch to Guanganri I'd definitely go. GSL final on Friday then OSL final on Saturday would be amazing. Doesn't seem too likely though, so I'm not sure at the moment. I really want to go to the OSL final.
What is everyone doing for accommodations? Is everyone planning on roughing it in a PC bang? |

i am 99% certain they won't be having an osl final at the same time as the gstl final in the rough same area, lol. trust me on this.
i'll probably come for the weekend for gsl + gstl, since osl is delayed for another week. |

Anyone going to Busan for this. I'm making the 40 minute bus ride from masan....but no-one here is going so I'll be alone ;-; GSL is on the friday right? that's the one I'll be going for...and then to a sweet fucking bar (if I can remember where it is)

Well, since it's not going to be an epic back to back SC2/BW finals weekend, and GSL isn't going to conflict with OSL I now thinking to go. Are most people leaving from Seoul? I might leave from Cheonan-Asan. Not sure if the Seoul-Pusan train stops there.
Let's organize accommodations if we can? |

Right now, I am in Japan and it will be difficult to organise from there. I was hoping someone could help on this.
I will be back in Korea on thursday 26th.
As many people, I guess I will go there from Seoul on friday 27th. I don't know if it would be possible to book an accomodation before going or if it is possible to find something when we will get there (a not too expensive motel would do).
We shall decide at what tile we shall meet in Busan Friday and where maybe.

Yeah. OSL got rescheduled to the fourth at Jamshil instead of COEX.
Are most people thinking of taking the KTX down? Pricier but probably the most comfortable way to go. |

Has anyone heard of the "Korea happy rail pass" (or a similar name) ? it seems less expensive than pure KTX tickets but doesn't ensure a seat.

No clue on ktx reservation. I just booked normal tickets this morning since most ktx seem to be a almost full for this weekend. I will retrieve the real tickets on seoul station on friday.
I suppose it works in the same way for the railpass, you can reserve online and change it on the day you want it to star. However, the railpass doesn't book you a seat in advance, which means that if the ktx is full on the d day, I guess you are screwed.
