The TSL4 will be streamed free in 720p. That's pretty good quality. But for those wanting the best possible quality, a TSL+ ticket will give you access to our 1080p stream. That's a full 360p higher than 720p, or a 50% increase in "p" quality. Trust us we used the power of addition and the windows calculator program.

I don't know if anybody's trolling, but 1080p = 1920 pixels x 1080 pixels = 2,073,600 pixels (per frame).
720p is 1280x720 = 921,600 pixels (per frame).
So 1080p is actually more than twice the resolution of 720p (2.25x times more resolution, in fact). However, it's only 1.5x the pixels per inch (along either the horizontal or vertical axis), so the resolution (or detail?) increase along one axis is only 50% more. But to reiterate, 1.5x more pixels horizontally and 1.5x more pixels vertically means you end up with 2.25x more pixels in total per frame.Last edit: 2012-07-13 04:56:41 |
