Well, TBH, the stream quality was really bad here in Europe, I watched some of the event during the evening but at one point had to go sleep, and it was lagging at every single quality (other streams were absolutely fluent at 720p at my computer). I would never, ever, buy an HD pass for an event where even the low-quality stream is laggy as hell. I'd rather have lower-quality but 'live' watching than 10sec. cuts all the time during a games, that's just not cool.
As for the time difference, I'd be cool if the VODs would be up the next day, so that we Euries can stay away from TL for a day, watch the VODs and have some delayed excitement.
It is a bit mean to let people pay for an HD pass that is useless in terms of connection and at a very inconvenient time, just to see the VODs. Hell, put them up as free SQ VODs (just like the stream) and let people pay for the HQ VODs - fine with me, but just put the VODs on youtube or Twitch, it can be done automatically! |

nasl sucks as does mlg and most other big us tourneys. the point is even 2-3 hours of an earlier start would have been enough so that europeans could watch the finals too. on top of that the quality sucked, no update on op, vods for cash like in all big us tourneys compared to eu ones. its like in politics usa or die. fuck that attitude...

Yep, Combat EX was at NASL and he showmatched against Scarlett on the rear stage. Apparently Scarlett won, and easily, but that's only what I heard through the grapevine while I was there. I didn't actually witness the versus.

True story, I was watching from CombatEX's perspective. It was a ONE game thing , plenty of joking trashtalk from both sides.
CombatEX: "YOU READY FOR THE CHEESE OF YOUR LIFE?"
Game played on Cloud Kingdom. Scarlett right, Combat left. Combat was going for a 1-base double gas, but got 9 pooled I believe with Scarlett throwing some "EZs" out there. Combat took a shitton of damage, had little left (not even Warpgate was started to research) so with the 1 probe he had sneaked out, he proxied 3 gateways and went for mass zealot all-in.
Scarlett tried a baserace but zealots were there protecting the ramp, Combat moved in with 5-6 zealots. Scarlett had 1 spine constructing and pulled some drones with the hatched lings defended.
Combat came for round 2 shortly after and got easily deflected with the spine and mass speedling. "WHY YOU SO GOOD!??" Said CombatEX, then left the game. GG |

Is it unreasonable to have the VODs up the next day (in the same quality as the stream) so the euries can watch the tournament without being spoiled? |
