forget about TBLS, it's only FF now, right before bw dies. (FF = flash + fantasy)
Beatiful TvTs. A bit sad about Flash not taking +1 OSL victory, but I love Fantasy so cheering for him in the Finals. |

flash's decision making was pretty poor game 1 and game 3. Game 3 less so because it still is a wonky build order situation and it was more of a risk. Set 1 his algorithm just said "ground zero make dropships" and didn't remake any valkyries. |

i really felt like flash wasn't addapting at all to fantasy and if you don't adapt to fantasy you get 3-0. he had a plan and he stuck with it. it worked out ok in game 1 but he got dismantled in game 2. game 3 was just a gamble build. |

Second time in recent play fantasy's hammered somebody 3-0 who many thought was favored against him. Stork in the OSL final, now Flash. Big change from that final vs Jaedong.
(Incidentally, it's kind of funny that the two best finals series in the "modern era" of BW have involved fantasy losing 2-3. Maybe it should happen again?) |

nah. After a 2-3, he wins 3-0. If jangbi was replaced by the dong, still 3-0 for fantasy. |

I like Fantasy but it's disappointing to see Flash lose. He was so close to being the first to get 4 OSL victories.
Well, he can still get them in SC2 I guess.
Also I definitely found it odd that Flash never remade any Valkyries. He was ahead of supply and had enough money to make some several times in game 1.

he didn't make comsats upon completion of the academy. He didn't start his comsat until right when his 3 wraiths died (and plopped down an armory immediately too). |

It's funny that people here in TL do trash talk on Flash's play.
Yesterday's match between fantasy and flash was so mind blowing, the Korean BW forums don't even dare to comment on the gameplay from either of them. Flash played a typical flash, but Fantasy's play was so speedy and aggressive, flash's play wasn't able to get on the regular track.
If you have no idea on how BW TvT works on the level of players like fantasy and flash, please don't try to act like one, because you are only embarrassing yourself.
The skill that Fantasy showed yesterday match was simply unbelievable, and was a worthy victory. At this point, he is simply a better player than Flash with no doubt, and the only reason that flash lost was not due to any bad decisions, but simply fantasy being the better player.
I'm betting on Fatasy pulling out a 3-0 win on the finals against Jangbi. |
