A shout out to Mr. Bitter, Rotterdam and Frodan for making my NASL experience that much more memorable!
Frodan started things off by coming down to the signing booths to meet all the fans that were waiting a long time for MC's signature and took the time to know the names of the fans and interact with them, really felt great to have Frodan remember you even if it were for a few minutes. Also huge shout out to Bitterdam, they were there at the signing booths longer than anyone out there and always had a smile on their faces and a pose to go with it when pictures were being snapped. I want to thank you guys for being so awesome and wish you came back to Canada soon :-) |

And Idra, Incontrol and Gretorp!
Frodan gave me some flattering words, Mr Bitter's handshake was addictive (I got in line for so many more haha!)
They're all great guys! |

I have to agree.
The NASL has come SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far from the early days. The shaky start, right from the announcement of the announcement, the other glitches and problems that arose.
They really do a great job overall, getting BitterDam was a big part of that.
Keep up the great work you guys.
Fantastic product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sorry to Rotterdam for our group drunkenly blobbing around you after the afterparty, you were just a very cool dude! Though I will remind my friend that he owes you $100 Last edit: 2012-07-18 00:53:14 |

Thanks to Kadium and Elemental too for those who watched the french stream. They did like a 13-14 hour marathon the first day without a break. Such sick dedication and passion for esports.
Also a shoutout to other casters too espicially Bitterdam and Frodan. Frodan is one my new favorite caster...i just love his style and his voice. |

Yes to this ! Kadium and elemental where alone to cast every games single game on the stream for two days, not even taking a lunch break ! They were very friendly, reading the chat and answering questions, talking about food and telling the baneling joke during the few downtimes, they even did an interview in french with LivinPink. Their sound setup was quite bad, we could hear only one caster per side of the headsets and preventing them from hearing the players interviews clearly, which wasn't their fault but it didn't prevent viewers from following them all day (and night) long. They didn't expect much viewer at first, due to the tournament schedule, ending at 5am in europe (where most of the french people are) but they reached 535 viewers max the first day and more than 2.5k on the second day, getting featured on the biggest french websites like millenium. Iirc, one of the nasl guy was really impressed when he saw the 2.5k viewers, thinking they'd only reach 200 viewers or so.
Big shoutout to them !
It was the first time i'd watch the french stream for a big event. Most of the time i'd rather watch the english stream as i understand it perfectly but this time, i couldn't switch stream again after watching them for 5 minutes I'd definitively want more french streams like that for the next events like MLG, IPL, IEM, WCS, HSC, even the GSL !Last edit: 2012-07-19 06:29:44 |
