So the original tournament that was in this thread got scrapped, but I think this is a great place to try and establish a College BW Community for future events. Whenever you post the first time put your player ID, rank/position in the sport, and college.

Ahhh i wish this wouldve worked out but I honestly think I rushed the timing for it all. Its still an idea I'm very much in love with and will play out hopefully in the spring. Can we just make this thread a college BW interest thread??

| Finished 1-1 for Season 2. lol Anyway yea, like people said, the issue with CBW was basically when midterms hit everyone got busy and it died out or people weren't seriously commited in the first place. I'm in favor of something casual but getting a full fledged collegiate team league is damn near impossible cause of other responsibilities (studies, work, orgs, etc.). |

There are a surprising number of Koreans that still play bw casually without any interest in the pro scene. Unfortunately most of them don't speak much english  |

Well, i remember this being about American universities... is anyone in? I'd like to let Broodwar go with a boom, forcing myself to pick it up once more after years of veeeery casually playing it from time to time.
So yeah, im from University of Freiburg (Germany) and i would be happy to play a few games, but if this is about college teams i doubt i'd get anything going here. All people i know play starcraft 2 -.- |

I didn't realize that. I think that might be a good idea since there are still individuals who play scattered all about, but probably not many schools with enough for a full team. |
