Hi, I'm having an issue with sc2 patching. I recently installed it again after downloading it from the website and when i finish the installation and start patching, this error pops up after 2-4 patches. Also, The patch download speeds are incredibly low.
The patch "base\Campaigns\LibertyStory.SC2Campaign\Base.SC2Data\BlizzardComponent.xml" could not be applied. (MD5 mismatch: expected 0x65E734FC2089FB342EF1DCBB140C8538, actual 0xEA78389B5D970D9D8857030FF318DDA9.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. I have tried reinstalling, repairing and downloading the patch manually. I have also tried running sc2 as an administrator and disabling my firewall and antivirus. Please help!!!! |

I had this problem EVERY patch when i used to play world of warcraft, my first solution that worked was to to reinstall the whole game, not just the patch itself. Then i realised that i could start wow with "run as administrator" and then the patch would install, even though i had admin access by default on the computer.
I know you might have tried all these thing, hope somebody else can help you if you don't get it to work. |

This actually happened to me and when i reinstalled sc2 from ny friends CD it was fine  also you might run across a problem with downloading maps and patches this is because some companies like at and t block the blizzard ports if that happens to you just drop me a pm cause that happened to me after this error. |
