london getting a bit police state about it all. arresting a guy who has never illegally graffiti'd because ... he's a graffiti-ist. Oh yeah he's also done professional work for one of the big sponsors. Huh.
Absolutely retarded. I can understand, PERHAPS, the authorities keeping an eye on him, but fucking ARRESTING him for what he *may* do? What the fuck is that shit? The fact that it's endorsed by the courts too makes it even more disgusting.
The olympics are stupidly totalitarian >.< Did you know that it's against the rules to have any brand name inside the olympic area unless they sponsored it? They actually had hundreds of people go around with white tape, to tape over the "Dyson" logo on all the hand dryers in all the toilets and also blocked out the brand markings on the toilet bowls themselves because dyson and the toilet company hadn't sponsored the olympics >.<

I like this. You need to see it from a different point of view. China has opened so much that the safety process is really similiar to your Europe. I think this is an important step to a better world! /sarcasm off
Banning somebody from the metro and arresting because he might dome something is over the top.

A few weeks ago they shut down the entire M6 toll because someone lit up an e-cig and some idiot thought he was a terrorist.
Strangely enough though, the government is in a bit of a scandal because the private security firm they contracted venue security out to is apparently incompetent.
The four men's bail conditions also forbid them from entering "any railway system, including tubes and trams, or [being] in any train, tram or tube station or in or on any other railway property not open to the public" unless in limited circumstances including attending a written appointment with a solicitor.
They are also barred from possessing "any spray paint, marker pens, any grout pen, etching equipment, or unset paint".
Jesus Christ, you'd think they were being suspected of blowing up the Olympics, not drawing a picture.

Actually, its kind of against the law to do it, which is why he's on bail till november, when his case will get thrown out as abuse of police power....long after the olympics are finished.
Stop arresting the professionals and start arrest the little cunts who keep scrawling over the bus stop outside my moms house, or the little shits who kick the windows in, or the bastards that think its funny to key peoples cars...you know....real fucking criminal offences
Police incompetence is another reason I'm not upset about setting up life in Korea (though arguably, police here are lazier)

Can't say I liked London very much when I went there. Cameras and cops everywhere. Felt like you were under constant surveillance, and that was 3 years ago! Must be insane now.
When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.

As someone who had some really bad experience with the UKBA, i am not surprised to see this news. Something seriously went wrong back there of these polices. The biggest problem is their incompetency and inefficiency to do something that they wanted to do and then public became the biggest victim in the end of the day.

It's a fucking joke. Honestly these cops need some common sense. Why would a working professional who actually works for major sponsors spray tags illegally?

I heard from a friend (journalist who's working on the event's coverage) that the soldiers working for security couldn't answer him where's the press center. That's not cool.

I didn't read the story; How is it possible that they can do that to him?
"Then he told me to tell you that he wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire" — "Well, you tell him that I said that I wouldn't piss on him if he was on Jeopardy!"
Wait, really? As Xapti said, how can they do this to him? Isn't it illegal to arrest someone for something they might do unless he/she is a terrorist or...I don't even know.
