Are you saying he wants something physically heavier? I don't see why that's an advantage at all.
Building a laptop on XoticPC.com is a good choice though. |

Hehe, it's not an advantage as much as a necessity. MSI GE60 is nice but it has too weak cooling for an i7 running hot from streaming. And good cooling laptops weight around 4kg. |

I don't think heavy is the right specification... maybe spacious lol. Heavy =/= good cooling...
Anyways, this guy http://www.twitch.tv/slyfive/b/325875522 streams with the retina MBP which has a 650M, looks fine (look at his videos). That laptop is ~4.5 pounds, though it does have a reputedly super-advanced cooling system.
A crazy example since his laptop costs >$2500, but still you don't need a 8 pound laptop just to stream SC2.Last edit: 2012-07-24 01:34:38 |

| Just turn your fan higher using fan control and use a cooling pad when you are streaming. Problem solved. It is pretty silly to intentionally buy a bulky and heavy laptop for streaming. |

A) Fan control doesn’t work with most laptops and when you stress the light ones they already run at maximum speed. B) A good cooling pad might help but it also isn’t all that mobile.
It comes down to if the weight is and issue at all which the OP doesn’t specify.
