Dear TLers,
We have announced the Koreign SC2 Tournament August for lower league and now so happy to open an edition for high leagues: high Plat to Masters leagues on the Korean server.
This tournament is to bring together the community of foreigners living in Korea and playing SC2 on the Korean server. This tournament will be opened to Foreigners ONLY whether you live in Korea or not will not be a problem for playing/registering. (only delay will be added for price delivery).

Masters of Koreign
When:
First rounds: August 4 2012 22:00 KST[local]
Finals: August 11 2012 22:00 KST
(the exact time of the start might still vary at the moment, we will give notice very soon)
Who:
- High Platinum to Masters players on the Battle.net SC2 Korea : MASTERS of KOREIGN).
- Living in Korea is preferred but not mandatory.
- Being a foreigner is mandatory (verified by skype).
- Age: 16+
Tournament Format:
- Maximum number of player: 8.
- Players will be organized in pools of 4 players (Bo3). The first of each pool will go to grand finals (Bo5).
- Map pool (regular ladder): detail on the website.MASTERS of KOREIGN
Prizepool:
- Winner: Tt-sport mouse pad signed by MarineKingPrime.
- Finalists: Koreign Tshirt signed by Tastosis (I went myself to the gom studio for those).
- An additional price money (50$) might be added to the Winner price depending on attendance (and my finances).

Questions have been made on what is the definition of Foreigner here:
Foreigner, in this case are non Korean citizen. This rule is just to discard Masters or high players that live in Korea and are Korean, I intended this tournament for non Koreans, living in Korea mostly but non exclusively. The community actually, for all the talk about foreigners vs Koreans, doesn't have a clear definition for a foreigner.  |

| I'm 14, not korean ( at least to my understanding ) , live in US, and top master on KR server. Am I still able to join this tournament even though there rules say 16 or older? (MKP is a baller) |

Foreigner, in this case are non Korean citizen. This rule is just to discard Masters or high players that live in Korea and are Korean, I intended this tournament for non Koreans, living in Korea mostly but non exclusively. How about Korean-American or else ? I don't know, and it will be deal case by case.
to Intense555: I think it's fine if you join the tournament, but you might not be able to receive the price money (just other prices, due to your age). I will need some time to figure it out. Please, register and I will let you know if there is any problem.
to Nemesys: yes Korean server, because there is not many other organization doing it there (unlike NA and EU). Thanks for your post~ |

| I play Zerg and Protoss... ^^ Probably will be playing Zerg in the tournament, unless I hit a ZvZ and don't feel like playing ZvZ... unless that is not allowed, then I will play strictly Zerg and no PvZ ^_^ |

Just to remind you that there are only 3 days left before you can register to Koreign Tournament lower leagues (August) or higher leagues (Masters of Koreign).
We're waiting for you to join the community, show us you a-game and just say hi on the stream, everything is welcome (BM excepted~).

Really though I love this idea. So cool to get these people together competing in SC2, and not just the ones who are living in Korean pro-houses (we already have a tournament for them, called the GSL  ). |

Hey, sorry to hear that you just realized that. I will do my best to delay your matches for one hour later (9.00 am est), but it's the maximum i think otherwise it will delay too much too many things.
