I think IM will be happy with Losira and First's results, a pretty successful tournament for them. 3rd/4th for First and 5th/6th for Losira, spots in pool play for summer championship.

( I'm really really happy to see IM players doing well in foreign events again )

Taeja just dominated and he showed how us terran players need to play now lol. I felt bad for alicia, he got stomped by stephano and then by Taeja. But Alicia was the 2nd best player there so that is something to write home about. Taeja just wanted it more you could tell he dropped kids into the lower bracket with ease.

There were some good games and good production per the new usual for MLG, however at the end it seemed very underwhelming.

why'd korean seemed so immortal in NA tournament
but get pawned here and there in european tournament

The Korean:Foreigner ratio is much more Korean-favored in NA tournaments than in European ones. There's usually less top Europeans in NA tournaments as well.

This Arena specifically had one of the lowest quality foreign lineups seen in major tournaments so far, and yet some of the foreign performances were actually very positive IMO (Welmu, Goody (again), SortOf knocked First to the losers bracket etc). The only foreigners that underperformed were SaSe and Sheth imo.
