From what I've been told about Egypt, it's one of the more "free" Muslim countries. However, this candid camera exposes an Egyptian comedian's thoughts about Israel. The kicker is apparently the purpose of the show isn't to promote peace with the Israeli neighbors, but instead thank the comedian for his views and patriotism. Very interesting that Egypt would also promote anti Israeli sentiments.
The other interesting thing to note is the woman reporter is smoking hot.

Well actually the government when Egypt was not free under mobarak was pro-Israeli, which the people hated. Now that the Egyptians are free they are politically opposed to Israel and pro-palestinian. The people of Egypt always have been and it's not because they are somehow crazy but rather because their people (arabs) are being persecuted by Israelis who violate international law. This is a huge thing to do to an Egyptian. It would be tantamount to having a protestant leader on an IRA republican TV show in Northern Ireland in the 1970's and then making out that its a joke. To a middle eastern arab, to do something like this..was foolish and is a HUGE HUGE insult if it were true.

The opinions of a few people do not reflect the opinions of a whole country. Common sense, people. We have channels like Fox that can be very stupid at times; they have large audiences and are well watched. However, that doesn't mean their general political leanings are indicative of those of a whole people. I expect that this is a similar situation. Stupid people gonna be stupid, no matter the location.
