Hello, recently my cousin's RAM decreased fro 3.5Gb to 3.00Gb and he doesnt know why. He sent me a few pictures with his RAM:

If anyone know any idea to this problem, me and my cousin would be greatly appreaciated.

P.S. He has total 8Gb Ram from Corsair and is using a 32-bit Windows 7 OS (came with package)

Is he using a dedicated video card, or integrated?

EDIT: Im going to assume its a IGP seeing that he only has a 4.0 in windows. Here is a lil tip for ya:

32-Bit Windows (xp, vista, 7) can only use at max 3.5 GB RAM for your os, anything extra is used as "extra" vram. I'm also going to assume that your cousin is a gamer seeing that he has LoL and minecraft along with other games on his desktop. Well if he is playing those games on an IGP and the IGP doesnt have enough Vram to support that games at whatever settings he may be using, then its going to use as much of your physical ram as possible... or at least until it hits the 3 GB wall. His RAM wont go lower than 3GB but I recommend that he gets a dedicated video card and 64-bit windows. considering the fact that (based off the picture) his copy of windows is not genuine, why not continue the trend? lol. but seriously, 64 bit windows and a dedicated video card is all he needs.

Intergrated, but he has been using this setup for over 6 months with ram at ~3.7Gb
