Graphic Card Damaged, Fault or Not?

Hello TL,

You have been very helpful in my CPU upgrade and later selecting GPU with which I have one problem after upgrading. After 2 weeks with Blizz Support I ask for your help:

Hardware:

The Graphic Card Change:

Problem/s

1. Black Screen
+ Show Spoiler +

2. Low Pool Page Memory

+ Show Spoiler +

Solutions tried:
Furmark testing = 0 issues max 60C
Repair SC2
Reinstalling Game
Reinstalled Graphic Drivers from Scratch
Selective Startup
Deleting Variables.txt
FPS Cap 30fps menu/60fps - This solution helped me for like 2-3 hours.
CCleaner

Since I wasted so much time with Blizzard Support and need to quickly see if I need
to return the Video Card, I can only humbly ask for you support

Stop using Windows XP. It's over a decade old now.

Are the drivers for your graphics card up to date?

Yes, the drivers are up to date.
I don't see how Win7 could change from crashing to working. Performance quite possibly but it shouldn't cause
the crash.

You could try installing your graphics card on another system and rule out whether the card is broken or not.

I would just simply install windows 7 to rule out whether or not is an OS issue. Tinkering with hardware is annoying for me.

I do not have another PC - only Mac laptop.
Windows 7 would cost as much as the graphic card.

Double check your drivers. Double check your BIOS settings.

The post by R1CH will most likely fix your problem. Btw, I googled for this solution with keywords "pool paged memory problem ati graphics card" and found the post. Just in case you have future issues.

Yes I saw this solution but I thought that there might be something else to try first since
Blizzard never put link to that one on their forum.

The seller agreed to replace my video card so I'll see.

I understand Win XP can cause Pool Page but when the crash occurs its also on lowest settings when I do not
get low pool page memory.

Quite interesting:

-Tech support claimed issue compatibility with Catalyst 12.6 but switching back did not work

-On Diablo 3 forums people complained same thing after it was also patched
So people with different cards and even Windows 7 have the same problem.

Problem seems to be with recent Blizzard updates which affect some people.
