new egg paypal question

so i want to buy something from new egg, and i want to use paypal. a friend gave me some paypal money, so i have money in my paypal funds. is there a way to use those paypal funds to buy stuff from new egg or am I forced to purchase with my credit/debit card that's linked to my paypal?

You can pay with your paypal balance on newegg as long as your paypal account is verified(bank account linked) and confirmed(credit card linked)

I purchased something from Newegg with some $ I got from diablo 3. I didn't have a bank account linked, but I did have a credit card linked. It used my paypal $

How is that?

And to answer the OP, as long as the money is in your account when you click the "buy" button, it automatically pulls money from your Paypal account first. If that's not enough, it goes to whatever linked forms of payment you have to get the rest.
