I'm very happy to announce the launch of the UK's very own Starcraft 2 league, made by Starcraft players for Starcraft players...The UKSCL!
For our first season, we are inviting each and every UK player to signup. Please note, we will not be accepting signups from any other country.
The league will consist of upto 5 or more groups of 10 players (depending on sign-ups).
We will begin the league in Group Stages with the top 3 players of each group going through to the Elimination bracket. The winner of the elimination bracket will then receive £100 out of my own pocket + £100 out of the pocket of sirrobert5!
Competitors will be expected to play 1 match a week in a bo3 format, starting on the 2nd of September.
Each week will also have featured matches which will be casted by guest casters.

Signups End: 26/08/2012
First Week: 02/09/2012
For the first season, we will be running the league through the well known site, BinaryBeast.

yeah this looks really promising and I will sign up for sure but you seriously need to reconsider the map pool shakuras and taldarim are so outdated its unreal. |

Hey guys, I want to let you all know that all the rules / map pool etc is preliminary at this stage. We'll listen to all the feedback we get in time to have everything perfect for the competition start in September!
Hopefully everyone stays interested!
@Shieldsy, don't let that stop you! We want everyone to sign up, our goal is to bring the UK scene together in a way that's never been done before and promote the UK players as much as we can, no matter who you are. |

As LemonyTang said, nothing is final - we're open to feedback on everything...We want this to be your league!!!
We've already made a change to the map pool but all details will be finalised closer to the start of the league once we have feedback from everyone.
Both myself and LemoyTang will also be i46 so if anyone wants a chat - come visit us!
