Official Quantic Statement: "Johan Lucchesi asked to be released from his contract today. Quantic has granted this request effective immediately. While we believe that Johan has thrived in his relationship with our family, we do not believe in holding players who no longer wish to be with us. "I can confirm that SaSe will not be leaving with Naniwa, and will stay in Quantic. Naniwa has released a statement to me, along with others, that will appear in a GameSpot story probably tomorrow. Excerpt from his statement:

| This was certainly unexpected, I thought he found a good home in Quantic, especially after how they supported him after the Blizzard Cup controversy. Just adding more fire to the "Naniwa is a teamhopper" unfortunately. Hope he finds a good team soon to house a great talent, but possibly a Korean team? StarTale? |

| Huh, seems like he was a good fit, wonder where he's off to now lol. If he joins ST it'd make sense but I doubt he'd want another foreign team. Quantic stood up for his ass, if they didn't let him go then I can't think of a better foreign team. |

| And everyone on reddit was saying rakaka was making it up. The rumours of a rift with sase appear to be true since he unfollowed him on twitter. How many times now has Naniwa switched teams?

NOOOooooooooooooooooooo. I was just watching his TSL4 games last night on YouTube, too + Show Spoiler + I was actually feeling depressed after he lost - he was my favorite to win the whole thing. His BM comments showed that he was really frustrated, too.
In any case, NANIWA FIGHTING!
P.S. And yes, Startale.Naniwa would be pretty cool... I wonder if practicing with Squirtle would be really helpful for him (assuming he doesn't do that already) |
