Someone mind explaining this utter stupidity?
I am 1v1 plat, but the summary is so messy, you can barely realize that, before navigating to leagues , etc. Why can't we see leagues summary the old, net and tidy way?

| Hmm, I just noticed something, not sure if it's new or not: When I set my SCVs to auto-repair (right click on the repair button), and then a-move them somewhere, they don't attack, but instead huddle around each other trying to repair stuff. So they basically start acting like medivacs. Is that new? |

| I tried the patch and indeed....the game runs smoother and somehow i got more fps than before, except for the beginning of the game, where it lags a bit. I play with ultra settigns btw. |

Found a fix. Had to change the value of
"localeidassets=enGB
localeiddata=enGB"
to
localeidassets=enUS
localeiddata=enUS

my framerate has dropped MASSIVLEY
I used to play on max everything and never suffer any fps problems

I haven't played yet so I only know how it looks. I really like the more detailed progression. It shows my 1v1 progression which I have always been interested about. It shows me going through the leagues (bronze to masters)
I think this specifically will help me convince my friends in bronze/silver to keep playing, I was at their level once and I can prove it. And I didnt improve overnight, it took over a year.
Custom Games Improvement: This will draw more people into starcraft, there are some amazing custom games. With this, its easy to convice a friend to buy the game after showing them a handful of customs. Soon enough they might dabble in 1v1. I think this improvement was sorely needed.
Slash commands: Reminds me of WoW and I really like how its easy to type a command and get something done
UI: Looks like what I imagined the game to be. Just a solid look to it.
I hope I dont encounter problems when I play, but I'll edit if anything funky happens.
Edit: The way that fog of war disappears is different now it seems. Its kind of cool, it shows exactly where your vision stops. Makes it easy to know if you actually got vision of where an expansion would be instead of not knowing if it was actually outside your vision, or not there at all.

Noticing the same stuff. Also the graphics appear to have been overhauled, but these 'better' graphics actually make the game run worse for me; not that smooth feeling I used to get when playing on low settings before. |

It's a hotkey called Quick Ping. You can change it to alt but not alt+left click, even though alt+left click IS how this bind still functions. unfortunately it also unbinds the show/hide health bars, but i ended up just changing that one to alt+ctrl, I have health bars on all the time anyways so doesn't really affect me.Last edit: 2012-08-02 04:14:09 |

Good patch for mapmakers, just wish it didn't include such gems as:
- Deleting your mods folder (hope you had a backup stored in another directory)
- Preventing MPQ modification
- Causing wild variation in everyone's Wings of Liberty (Melee) mod during custom games

This patch implement a great Arcade menue that's the good part of it.
But the new interface is sad and dark, the chat boxes design is cheap, and i dont know why the hell my game turned into french language !
So i really miss the previous UI, though i enjoy the arcade. |

| My favourite feature of 1.5 is being told I'm 1v1 Master in my profile when I'm hardly 1v1 Plat in ranking. Menu shortcuts are awesome, and slightly less convenient pinging makes those team games less annoying while people are figuring out the new interface. It's pretty nice being able to /command my way through chat interactions and also quite convenient being able to look for teammates through the Quick Match menu. As far as performance, I think everyone is experiencing slower FPS than pre-patch and higher CPU usage, but the patch notes can be misleading: by promising better performance they may have been referring to better performance than previous iterations of THIS version than previous versions of the game. Appearance-wise, I prefer the new BNet menus and darker colour scheme, but I'm pissed about losing my custom backgrounds. |

The patch is decent, I think the font for Arcade / starcraft on top left looks cheap. Like everyone else has said it defiantly is harder to see ranks. I wish they would had percentages of wins by race.
Also don't understand why it shows me in diamond even though my current 1on1 is plat and I have never made it past plat. |
