Hello everyone. I'm Cresse (pronounced creh-see but I don't really mind how you say it). I'm a 20 year old half-korean half-american individual that has been flooded with a fixation for Starcraft 2. I've played videogames since I was a kid but something about Starcraft has always set it apart - head and shoulders - above other games for me. As I delved deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole of strategic depth, I found that I enjoyed talking about it just as much as playing it. Every time I would talk about it to friends, they'd want to play team games with me the same day. I've convinced multiple people to buy it, even.
Realizing that I had something resembling passion for such a difficult game, I figured I would try my hand at casting. Using my background as a Masters Zerg, I focus on analysis and try to weave a tale of players locked in mental melee at the same time. I practice both casting from replays - so observing - and from live streams, such as WCG and OGN Proleague.
The mission statement for this stream is improvement. Casting is a skill, and one that is rather taxing if you haven't tried it before. However, with practice, I will both improve in my accuracy and longetivity. My long term goal is to be picked up as a caster for either a prominent team, or be a regular caster for an establishment that hosts tournaments such as MLG, IPL or perhaps even GSL. Ridiculous as it may sound, I am convinced with enough practice and hard work such a thing is possible. I am here for the long term, to become an asset for the community.
If you have a particular set of matches you'd like casted, be it bo1 or bo99, post it as a recommendation in here and I may cast it.

Live now. As there is no WCG stream tonight, I will be casting some of the TSL 4 Qualification matches! If WCG comes up I will switch ASAP to casting that.
Edit: It appears an evil internet wizard has struck at the worst time possible. I recorded a good 5 minutes before the internet went down and FFSplit stopped its local recording (!) in addition to the live stream. So effectively I spent an hour shouting at a glowing screen in a closed box. I will do what I can to avoid such occurrences in the future. | Hahah, thanks. I'll make sure to put my internet through a stress test in preparation this time. I'm thinking of casting old GSL games, considering that GOMtv has incrementally been releasing VODs of last year's games. I never got around to watching the GSTL February final in particular (StarTale versus IM), and the comments section seems to say that the games were excellent! Hoping to go live in roughly 40 minutes. My stream was recently approved too, you can find here. |

| Live, casting some of ForGG's games at ASUS ROG! I noticed they didn't get covered on the english streams really and his very solid strategy was seeing some extensive use. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the subtleties of his strategy unfold. |
