Does anyone know what programs to use for streaming with a Mac, or how to set it up? I have been searching the internet, but I haven't found anything.
Here is my system details:
Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac12,1 Processor Name: Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2.5 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 4 GB Boot ROM Version: IM121.0047.B1F SMC Version (system): 1.71f22
I'm not the best with computers, is there anything else you guys need to tell me if streaming is possible? Thanks

Its pretty hard to stream with macs due to the fact that you cant really overclock them and on top of that, all of the good free streaming programs (as far as I know) are on windows. :/ with your setup you would be able to at least do 480p but the issue is getting ahold of a streaming program.

Even if you get some good streaming software (I have no idea about this for Mac), you won't be able to do a decent SC2 stream unless you have extremely good upload speed (about 2 Mb/sec at the very least I would say).
The CPU is a Core i5-2400S which is okay but not that great. It's a low power low voltage & clocked-down version of regular i5 2xxx's.

This is an extremely good tutorial on how to set it up. I stream on my mac but just recently partitioned to play on windows. If you need help with trying to get an overlay set up via camtwist, hit me up on my stream: twitch.tv/bcfarrar
