[H] Help streaming with Mac

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what programs to use for streaming with a Mac, or how to set it up? I have been searching the internet, but I haven't found anything.

Here is my system details:

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac12,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.5 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 4 GB

I'm not the best with computers, is there anything else you guys need to tell me if streaming is possible? Thanks

Its pretty hard to stream with macs due to the fact that you cant really overclock them and on top of that, all of the good free streaming programs (as far as I know) are on windows. :/ with your setup you would be able to at least do 480p but the issue is getting ahold of a streaming program.

Do you care to drop a bit more detail? I cannot seem to get anywhere near the quality result even by trying to match settings with these programs compared to Xsplit in windows :/

Also both FMLE and camtwist seems insaely unstable.

FMLE is stable enough to have streamed NASL finals, not sure what the issue is... what are your settings?

if you can get yourself a copy of wirecast, is an awesome program, very easy to configure, but with lots of options if you want to do more

Even if you get some good streaming software (I have no idea about this for Mac), you won't be able to do a decent SC2 stream unless you have extremely good upload speed (about 2 Mb/sec at the very least I would say).

The CPU is a Core i5-2400S which is okay but not that great. It's a low power low voltage & clocked-down version of regular i5 2xxx's.
