this is patch 1.5 what version do you have?

apparently to play on a different server you have to edit variables.txt every time you want to switch servers, which defeats the purpose of downloading separate clients to switch servers more easily/ efficiently.

This has been discussed in the other 1.5 discussion threads. My understanding is that the patch has gone out but the battle.net server hasn't been updated yet, so you'll just have to wait a bit.

well i only play on my korean account because i'm trying to get it promoted and because NA is fucked up, i'm slowly starting to hate this game because of the shit they keep doing to it.

I would think the problem here is that 1.5 is live on TW/KR, or is going live, and your client is not yet updated, but it's failing to initiate patching. As was stated earlier, try running the repair tool and then it should patch
