Welcome the fourth year of the TeamLiquid Fantasy Football League!
Last year had a crazy playoff as there were upsets galore. Drakkon and Brood, barely advancing to the winners bracket as the 5th and 6th seeds respectively, were able to win their opening match. In yet another twist, the top two seeds, ShooTouts and Dknight, were sent to the third place match. Brood finished the unbelieavable, winning the championship as the 6 seed by almost 20 points. Playing for third, Dknight took the bronze. Hawk, runner up from 2010, finished in 12th place, while I can't quite remember if the champion came back to defend his title at all. All in all, this shapes up to be a great season. First dibs will go to people in the league last year and then anyone else interested (and being active on TL helps) should PM me.
New to Liquid Football and interested in joining?

How many people were in last year's pool?
What kind of scoring setup do you use?
I definitely want in on this. I use Yahoo for my other pools so that got my vote.
How high do you guys think Flynn and Moss and will go overall? Also if you got third pick overall who would you take? I think Foster and R.Rice are pretty much locked up for spots 1 and 2, but I'm not sure who I would take for 3rd. C.Johnson has to do better than last year. McCoy was a beast last year, can he repeat? MJD was awesome and I see no reason for him not to be just as great this year. Charles has a chance to prove himself this year, but I usually stay away from injury prone players. And Megatron. Megatron went off last year, you think someone will take a WR third overall? I think I'd rather have 5th or 6th pick rather than 3rd. |

This will be my first year rooting for the G-men outside of the tri-state area. If they don't win the Superbowl, it's probably my fault. |

We use essentially default scoring (QBs will be back down to 4 points a TD). Each year has been a 12 manager league.
Do you guys only want Yahoo because it's essentially the status quo? I've started moving to ESPN for fantasy and at least in baseball, it's a ton better. But I'm down for either. ESPN is especially good if you can't make the draft and don't want to get fucked by auto-draft. We've all been there before. |

Ive done ESPN a few times. In one espn league this year. I just never really liked it much. Guess it is part due to me doing yahoo for many many years.
Flynn will be a ranked 15-20th for qbs. Moss is gonna be a blip on the radar. I'd be amazed if he got more than 50 catches. He's gonna be a deep ball guy and not much more for the niners.
Im amazed at how high Richardson (the browns rookie back) has been going in drafts. |

I'd probably take McCoy 3rd, and then maybe CJ. MJD will probably drop a few spots because of his holdout.
I'm in again this year. No preference for which site we use. |

I'd like in on this please, I set up the NCAA March Madness pool for TL earlier this year and had a blast playing with TLers.
My preference is definitely ESPN over Yahoo but whatever is fine. All my other leagues have moved over to ESPN (some slower than others) and no one I know has switched back to Yahoo.
Is it a live draft or what? |

| I just joined a fantasy league with my friends at college, but know little about Football (doing this to learn). Is there anywhere on TL to discuss fantasy strategy/can anyone give me some pointers? Or is this thread just for the TL league or can we discuss fantasy in general? |
