Hi all, not sure if this is where I am supposed to post this, but I made a small little book like thing that has a few common builds (four gate, ffe, etc) and some tips for low league players (Bronze, Silver) who are looking to be promoted. Why did I make this? Because my computer is a piece of junk and can't even dream about running SC2 and a browser at the same time, so I made a printable version of the builds for me to use. This is for protoss only, and if the community likes it, I'll keep updating it.
The link is to the SC2 Fanatic Forums, as that is where the guide is posted. If this causes issues with the admins I can post the guide here, I just like to keep it in one spot.
Pretty useful, my friend just got the game and I've been looking for something similar that he can print out and use. Cheers

Most of these builds I feel are outdated. I honestly don't see void ray or mothership rushes to be good builds to use in a matchup every time. Rather, it would maybe work once every couple of games or so.
As a top gold (plat MMR) Protoss, this is what I do for each matchup:
PvP: Huk's 7 minute DT build. ( http://day9.tv/d/Day9/day9-daily-439-huks-pvp-dt-play/ ) - i personally like the idea of forcing your opponent to go robo tech, and it flat out demolished anyone that didn't. It's a bit cheesy, but with proper scouting you can handle an early zealot/stalker poke by delaying DT's for 2 gates.
PvT: 1gate Expand into 3gate Robo for Colossus - I actually don't face many terrans on ladder for some reason, but that's my general game plan. I like having zealot/sentry with a few stalkers before my colossus are out; zealots are awesome when terran bio can't stutter step away.
PvZ: FFE into 6gates + robo. - I've recently been messing around with Jangbi's fast 3rd base, seen here: >> limited success, but still viable if performed correctly (which I haven't). - The way PvZ works nowadays is an extremely fast third from Zerg (around 4 minutes? correct me if i'm wrong), and pumping out lots of roach+ling, throwing in infestors and transitioning into broodloords. Getting blink, +2 weapons, immortals, and sentries are the key to playing this matchup. >> some people will still go muta, but it's easily scouted by a lack of third base (or rather late one). Not many people do this anymore as far as I've seen.

@XERtirips: Low league games arnt known for they great complexity. Whoever rushes the fastest usually ends up winning (bronze). But due to the suggestions from meepkeN, the guide will soon change. Thanks for the feedback!
@Wombat_NI: Thanks, tell him I said gl hf.
@meepkeN: You are my favorite commenter ever. I just incorporated the builds that had enough information to write something about on liquidpedia, didn't look much elsewhere. All builds you mentioned will be added and I'm looking for some good day[9] featured builds to.
Thank you all for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated!

Pretty fucking nice, I was actually doing something like this myself - not too far though.
Im not baws! at SC2, just reached Gold, but still wanna help with this thing, since I plan on use it myself
As for Day9 vids I used it a lot (brought me to gold ) - sadly its too late in my country for me to have the energy to pinpoint one vid I like - I remember it was something about PvT openings was one of them. //Day9 said it was a naniwa build, slightly changed, but I couldnt find it, so I denoted it from Day9 himself. it revolved around 1gate early pressure.
If you cant find it, reply to me and I find it as soon as I get the time
Other: 3-stalkerrush opening is pretty good counter to the 4gate - if you wanna look at that
-Im out!

This really isn't true. Although u still occasionally see 2 base muta, atm the most popular muta variations are the standard 3 hatch into muta ling, or roach ling max that switches into muta.
Ganzi beat me without stim. Ostojiy beat me with a nydus. Siphonn beat me with probes. Revival beat my sentry-immortal all-in.

@them0nk: I used to watch day[9] all the time, but eventually life got in the way and I don't watch it much at all :\ (which would probably explain why I stopped progressing in rankings). I'm off all day tomorrow and will spend time looking for it, Google is our friend! The more I thought about it though I realized taking a build off a VOD and putting it on paper probably isn't the easiest thing to do, so if we can identify what the build goes by, then I can find an article featuring it and transfer it in. And I should be debrotossed for forgetting the 3 stalker opening, I've used that myself several times. I'm already working on the 2nd revision, will have to add the builds you mentioned. Thanks so much!
@blooblooblahbalh: I don't actually have anything useful to say, I just like your signature.

PvP: 3Gate Robo (no expo initially, unlike my PvT build mentioned before) -can be done by going gate -> robo -> +2gates, or 3gates -> robo from what I've seen -probably the safest (or one of) opening in this matchup, usually holds off any aggression (4gate, 3stalker poke, Huk's DT build if you get observers out in time) -Provides a transition into colossus with zealots, or expansion. -highly recommend getting double robo for 2x colossus production with a LOT of chargelots mid/late game, and throwing in archons and eventually mothership if the game goes really long. >>Search the SC2 Strategy Forum for "4Gate is Dead". It provides a lot of info about it.
PvZ: Sentry Immortal All in -provides an extremely strong timing push. army consists of 5-6 sentries (for forcefields), 2-3 immortals, and blink stalkers. (upgrades too!) -opens FFE w/ quick double gas, robo, +6 gates. -Husky ft. White-Ra explaining the build:
I haven't faced many terrans for quite a while now, so I haven't actively been looking for new things to try out. I'm sure there's something out there, such as opening to get HT first, but I haven't tried it.

I some how forgot to add the 3gate robo, which I have also used several times.... How can this happen..... anyways, I'll drop all those in the guide later today. I myself have found that a ffe or even 3rd expo (assuming you can hide it) works good vs terran, as they like to hide behind their wall in for the first 15 mins of the game. That's just in mid silver league, idk about other leagues.

Is there any chance these could be formatted in BBCode and posted in the OP? I have trouble reading PDFs, and I imagine many phone users would prefer to be able to read this in-thread.

I highly recommend Filtersc's Bronze to Masters guide for Terran, and even zerg. He demonstrates a solid build and a strong 10 minute push. He also has benchmarks to see how you compare to the ideal build (for example, 50 SCVs (i think) by 10 minutes)
I am actually really unfamiliar with BBCode, I can post it in html as a webpage if you like. Or if anybody else wants to transfer it to BBCode thats fine with me too.

I have watched the first 5 videos and I agree that they are awesome. I just like having a sheet of a lot of different builds to try out. There are plenty to be found on this site though. No big deal, I just imagine someone will do this with Terran and Zerg soon enough.
I like the idea of having a PDF with build orders and notes.
But for the purpose of helping silver/gold+ players improve I think they should be learning economic opening like 1 gate expo PvT with notes of how to scout and adapt your follow up.

@ protoast. He's going to need it man! He insists that he's more comfortable playing with his trackpad than his mouse, but he's a pretty smart guy when it came to the strategic ideas of the game. Hopefully he'll come round to my way of thinking
And yeah I'm going to at some stage collate a massive PDF of various builds I find useful, as Wiki is outdated and the strategy forums are full of clueless theorycrafting or egotistical 'I named a build after myself it has 90% win' threads.
I quite liked your layouts and formatting so mind if I nick them?
