One of the best games I've ever seen was Jinro vs. Mc in the GSL. Jinro went Mec on hidden temple. epic win.

Jinro you where the reason I started watching the GSL and still do to this day. You where a total badass, and your achievements still rate higher than any other forger has achieved (in my opinion).

Good luck in the future, and maybe one day we can see you back playing silly sc2 games for charity with some other former badasses.

Dear Jinro,

every single person in this world has a dream, every little kid envisions a colourful joyful dream to come true somewhere in the future. Only a few of us will ever make that dream come true and this will hurt from time to time!

But you did it: You had a dream and you made it happen. Not by luck or fortune, but by hard work and all the good traits of character you have. You've entertained thousands of people, you made us skip university courses when you had to play in GSL. I remember waking up, skipping university, feeling nervous and excited at the same time because you were about to have your gsl matches today! I grabbed a beer (in the morning, at least in Germany it was morning), crossed my fingers and cheered you forward although I knew you couldnt here me because you were thousands of miles away, living your dream and bringing so much joy to the starcraft community!

I am proud that I am able to say "I've seen the first worldclass non-korean player compete in the hardest tournament in sc2 history! Winning unbelievable games and being the role model for so many players who followed him to Korea in order to achieve what he had achieved!"

The Starcraft 2 community will never forget you! We will miss you! But most of all we wish you all the best for the future, may your life be a joyfull and happy one and may - again - your dreams come true!
