| Jinro, it is sad to see you go, but as you mentioned, it was something that needed to happen in your life. I too have moved on from Starcraft, but you are part of my fondest memories of my spectating career. Watching you hold off Idras 6 pool on that bullshit T favored map was pretty fricken awesome. Watching your stream for countless hours, most notably late nights at work (couldn't have gotten through them without you). Seeing you take down MC was FUCKING AMAZING!! The close spawn mech game on LT was spectacular. Even though I've never met you, talked to you, or done anything but watch you play, I feel a special relationship with you. I can relate to your situation so much in my own life, and am glad to see you being true to yourself, and leaving something behind that was no longer making you happy. I wish you the best of luck my friend, and don't let that temper flare up in poker, it can be sooooo much more brutal then that colo/ht ball. GOOD LUCK!!!! |

My roommate is the most incapable gamer of all time, and had no interest in strategy games. But a little over a year ago, you beat MC in the GSL... and even though my roommate had no idea what the units were, who the players were, or anything that a regular TL-er would know about the game, he went APESHIT and said that was the sickest thing he'd seen in a long, long time. I'm an MC fan, so it sucked for me. But those are some damn good memories.
Thanks man.
Thanks, I'm glad I got someone into watching :D |

Jonathan, mate, thank you for all the moments you've given us. They've truly illustrated the pinnacle of excitement that esports has to offer. As a Liquid player, you represented the best esports can transgress and we, the fans, owe you so much for this. Best of luck in everything ahead of you and may you always have enough energy in your command center for a scan in case of dark templars. Good game, well played my friend.

I thought i heard they would use a retired tag for retired players, such as solidus or something? |

I wish you all the best, Jinro, and I hope you will find inspiration by treading other paths in life, and hopefully - one day will return empowered by the adversity and guided by the love of the game once again. This is not the end - just another chapter in the life that is the Gorilla Terran.
I thank you for all the great games you brought, and thanks for the story of you. I am proud of you. |
