What's a viable build that is good against a player that is playing random? I feel like that protoss is put into a disadvantage when playing against a random just because how protoss builds are usually tailored to that opposing race and only that race (FFE For example) I couldn't find any threads about this so i'm hoping for some helpful answers! Thanks.

1 gate FE build is your best option, if hes protoss dont expand, if hes zerg and terran expand. if you're scared of lings you can wall off your ramp. you have to cater mostly to pvp, because if you do something where the guy is in a position where he can just 4 gate you youre dead

I always type 'gl hf' and then 'race?'. Usually get the answer unless the person is cheesy, in which case 9pylon scout then 11 forge, if you scout they are playing standard you can cancel your forge or cannon rush. I'm bad though.
