Prayer is, in most religions, a way of communicating with a god. It is a way for humans to get in touch with a deity. So, I think you're stubbornness in not allowing yourself to pray because you believe in no god is not stubbornness at all, but a logical conclusion of your situation.
Perhaps you should explore religion on your own and perhaps come to terms with what you really believe in. Take a comparative religion course. Have conversations (preferably in real life) with people of different faiths to get an idea of what each one is like. I suggest talking to the respective clergy of each one if you do, and avoid the overzealous, proselytizing ones.
And for goodness sakes, if you are feeling depression, go see a psychologist.
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable~~

I recommend spending a year trying to figure out why there's something instead of nothing, and then reading the daodejing. After that you should get stoned and think about fractals.
Pantheism is just a belief that god is everywhere. It's a good view, and if christians ask me explicitly what I believe its that. I don't agree with organised religion.......
In pantheism you don't pray to please god, you appreciate everything around you and that is pantheistic. I'm an Atheist personally, in Dawkins sense I'm probably a 8/10 on the atheist scale. But I appreciate the beauty in the world, and if there is a god then I hope he understands that believing in him is a silly idea, and just appreciating life and the seeming chaos around us, and living a good life will see me good.
If not God is a cunt
Also, never delete a blog...it's just BM
