It's potato cooked in canola oil with salt... How is that not vegan?
"With regard to our French fries, any customer in the U.S. who contacts McDonald's USA to ask if they contain beef flavoring is told "yes." For flavor enhancement, in the U.S., McDonald's French fry suppliers use a very small amount of beef flavor as a natural flavoring during the par-frying process at the potato processing plant. In the restaurant, the French fries are cooked in vegetable oil.

You have to spend some serious money to get an equivalent of a dinner. A "big" mac is about the size of my palm (not counting fingers). I mean, that's like a third of a subway sandwich. I would wager it's more expensive as well considering taxes.
Well lets do the math...
1 Big Mac ----- 500 Calories 1 Large Fries ----- 500 Calories 1 Large Coke ----- 310 Calories ----------------------------------------------- 1310 Calories
For one meal.... that's 2/3 of your daily recommended intake assuming you don't exercise much (I'm assuming the majority of people eating this on a daily basis don't exercise much). Some of those fat bastards probably add 6 nuggets and bbq sauce to it or something extra. They probably don't have a big mac either, they probably have a double quarter pounder or something which is much worse.
Also just because something is smaller doesn't mean it's not calorie dense.
Unless you eat one meal from Mcdonalds a day and nothing else, you aren't going to lose weight... Unless of course you run equivalent to what an athlete does (Some athletes actually do have really high calorie diets).
Other than that, it's completely obvious why people get fat from Mcdonalds xD.
Then have a smaller burger, fries, smaller\no\diet drink? Are you implying you can't overeat at home and this problem is unique fast food? lol.
I like how you respond to someone talking about the burgers, then try to refute them by adding a large fry and large cokes to their order.
Are you dumb? I was talking about how people get fat from Mcdonalds, and I assure you, that the fat people who go to Mcdonalds don't only get burgers. He was asking how people get fat from eating the burgers... people don't get fat from eating the burgers, they get from stuffing their faces at Mcdonalds. I answered his questions as to "How people get fat".

Now the question is if it's artificial beef flavour, which doesn't have anything to do with beef ^^
and which other countries have it

McDonald's, why serve deep fried and high fat food?
because its a buisness, and people buy it

Same here. If it tastes good why question it. If you'd eat it without the knowledge why wouldn't you eat it with it? You liked it before and you'll like it after. Too bad most people wont eat whatever it was afterwards because all of a sudden it's "gross."

I want to put a big mac in front of my dog as well as some organic whole wheat shit people in this thread suggest.
I wonder which he'll eat.

That's why I choose McDonalds over Tim Hortans for my coffee.
you got that cashier fired in all likelihood, congratulations. I hope the iced coffees were delicious, and that your son had a wonderful birthday.
I don't know how Macdonald's system works but they probably wouldn't be able to trace down the loss of fifty dollars and if I had to guess they would only care if their tills were off by that much on more than one occasion.
Related - I had a bank teller give me an extra hundred back once. I was really young and I kept it . . .. .
Edit: -- And Macdonalds sucks balls. This only reaffirms my belief. Their food is horrible, extremely unhealthy and overpriced by fast food standards, and the fact that they can be so nonchalant about is all more the reason to dislike them.

People get fat by stuffing their faces eating anything and doing little/no exercise. It isnt purely the burgers, though thats not a balanced diet.
I don't understand why everyone gets grossed out by the kneaded ball of particles of meat shown on the assembly line. Yes, it doesn't look as appetizing as uncut grade a sirloin steak, but you know what? It's still just meat. Why should I care if you have the problem with a minute portion of 'less quality meat' being ground up into your burger? To me, it's all just dead cow, which, I understand vegetarians' argument against, but if you're a meat eater and want to get bent out of shape because a bit of the meat is 'less kosher' or less preferred than the majority of it....maybe you just shouldn't eat the shit. Or maybe you should just go vegan. Christ, maybe you should stop eating food and just go for a pure suspension of vitamins and minerals in a homeopathic pure broth.
