if u have a slow computer, it tends to do this. Happened to me all the time back when I was using a Pentium 4 and playing beta.
Not sure if this is the problem with you though. What are your computer specs |

| I have a dual core with 4 gigs of ram and a radeon hd6450... This would make sense but I have played 800+ games until this happened. |

My laptop has this issue for the very first game I play, so I always do a custom game first, but after that I don't have the issue (and it's only like a 3-5 second delay tbh).
Did it only start happening after patch 1.5 by any chance? God awful patch causing performance issues! |

Yes it has only shown up recently and nothing fixes it  Play on lowest settings and even changed my graphics card settings to ultra low and no change in the time at all. I have never had issues like this before or any pc performance related to the game issues |

| I have the same problem , and now my mouse stops listening to me whenever the slightest bit of lag shows up. Some spikes every 30 seconds or so and i lose control of the mouse, cant play tryhard sc cuz of it T_T |

| I created a thread that got closed a couple days ago about this I am pretty sure it's a bug caused by 1.5 :/ sadly not much we can do it has nothing to do with your computer as far as i know and i am in the same situation just keep on trucking :D |

Hmmm, I ran into a fellow on ladder who had a similar problem. Are you that same guy? My name is Kyle on sc2.
More importantly, have you reinstalled graphics drivers? I had a 5 sec lag glitch for a while, but after I reinstalled it went away. Last edit: 2012-08-09 11:38:10 |

The Issue happens to me too only after 1.5.0
It's only on multiplayer games. I thought my splits are awful after break and my ovies pop at 51sec now.
I tried vs AI and ovie keep being in normal 47-49 timing.
I had 3sec LAG over a year and a half ago when I had 2 gb of memory. But this is no lag. When the Loading Screen disappears I'm 3 seconds behind. Previously I would see my hatch and lag would occur but this one looks like there is

Haha, no, that was me!  Hey, Kyle.
Yeah, this has been going on for me as well since 1.5. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with Blizzard support I've literally ruled out every possible thing on my end that, you know coincidentally went wrong the day of the patch....yeah right.
Get those tickets open people! This problem may not be widespread but even if it's only a few of us Blizzard needs to make this right. For over 2 years (since beta) I've played SC2 without one single issue, no exaggeration, until 1.5. Now I start every match 10 seconds after my opponent. This needs to be fixed. |

I really encourage everyone to post on Bnet and open tickets so the problem gets visibility.
Also definitely seems to be a clue that everyone with the issue (that I've seen) has a Radeon HD card, most have even been 4xxx series I think (I have a 4850)... |

I have same problem and I have radeon 4600 series
Got on sc2 again and its still here... between 7 and 10 seconds late every game.
Some unique things that might be connected? Whatever might help solve this problem. All this happened right as the issue started.
-just bought a new keyboard razor blackwidow
-downloaded patch 1.5 the big arcade patch
-radean 4600 series graphics card
-sometimes if i lag ingame my mouse is uncontrollable for like a second, it never used to do this. Looks like its from lag but never happens when playing vs AI only vs players.
-windows XP

| I think 90% of us having problems are using an HD Radeon card. I am using windows xp as well. I have noticed a few stutters in the mid to late game. These are minor compared to the beginning problem. Our Radeon cards are the only clear link so far. Last edit: 2012-08-10 10:38:53 |
