Hey, I'm trying to find out how to stream games for Broodwars effectively. I've downloaded Livestream Procaster but when I stream it throws Broodwars in the top left corner, with small resolution and terrible graphics. Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated.

I would just recommend XSplit, and then using Ustreamcapture, that is very simple and effectively puts you in fullscreen, and then you can also use you're webcam if you have it. That's what I do, gl I hope it works out for you.

Yea, I had the same thing happen when I used the FFSplit project. Seems XSplit gets it right.

If you don't have a good enough computer/upload to make it work well on XSplit, fmle command line + some easy capture software is the better option.

Yeah playing in Wmode+Xsplit is pretty damn clunky, though it is possible to get used to. Fullscreen setups are always best. Though, for casting I find Wmode far superior, to keep an eye on streamchat, the broadcast etc. Just as a side-note.

When I do the streaming thing the stream is all black and white. The colors are fine when I'm playing, any fix?

Was bad at SC2, then my computer stopped running it. Now I'm bad at BroodWar.

Play in Windowed mode, not full screen. Full screen only works with camtasia studio or uscreencapture, and only for some people.
