Never was a fan of his after he took the belt from BJ who I liked a lot, but the boy has worn on me big time, shows mad heart when he fights. |

I absolutely love Edgar for his heart and determination, but I just think Benson is going to overwhelm him physically, even more so than last time, unless he can get a miracle knockout I expect to see a battered and bloodied Edgar.
Sure Edgar may have landed more punches in the last fight but the real story was the massive difference in the damage they took, at the end Edgar looked like he'd been the victim of assault while Benson looked like he'd just warmed up. |

I absolutely love Frankie Edgar. especially after he took the title from Penn (Who i hated! still not a big fan) and i think he has it in him.. but this is a tough fight for him.
A featherweight against a welterweight for the lightweight title.
However I STILL believe and i think Frankie gets it done this time

Shields and Okami are not exactly known for exciting performances and they have been on the wrong end of things recently and Guillard couldn't make weight, plus he is really inconsistent. So it is really not a stretch to be sceptical about how entertaining the card will be in the end. |

Henderson - Edgar should probably go the same way as the first, with Benson winning for a second time.
Cerrone should get past Guillard without too much trouble and likely call out Pettis again.
Shields will probably grab a late sub or clear 30-27.
Okami should run right fucking through Roberts,
and Lawrence is a good underdog bet, who can easily control Holloway on the ground (providing he doesn't get pulled into a brawl).
Prelim fights aren't all that interesting, but it's not too bad of a card overall. There's only two fights that really matter on it, but there should be a few exciting performances. |

That is MMA though. You think back then every fight was a gorlified match-up/card? Hell no. The fighters are much better and there's a ton to look out for. This card is no different.
