Why are ISLs, gambit cups, nation wars etc etc not included in the international database?
I mean the Koreans abandoned the game, but that doesn't mean we have to stop using the database.
Including Solar Flare and Art Of War (I have just recently been made aware of them) into the map portion would be good to more easily access information about how balanced they are and games that were played on them.

| Honestly we should start a new generation of TLPD. Basicly a reset for the international one. If it's not going to be on TLPD it should be somewhere else. |

That requires a lot more work. I think we should just add the past ISLs and make sure to keep it up to date with everything else that comes after. |

I don't really know the procedure of adding the information to TLPD, but if needed I'm ready to help and spend some time for this purpose. TLPD is a really useful and important resource. |

Do you have to be a mod to edit? |

| Even if you were able to get the approval to edit the TLPD it would be very difficult to get VODs together. If you have not noticed some of the more recent VODs and older foreign VODs are in a 2 hour mess. So the viewer could not as easily find the VODs they are trying to find. I guess if you generally wanted to make the topic ISL finals then sure I'm all for it. But in till there is a overall system that every tour, every caster and player can do in this scene is it too inconsitant from tour to tour; caster to caster; player to player. But I like this idea. |

Gosugamers has this, which while not as detailed as TLPD, is at least something. |

i think the tlpd guys have enough trouble sorting through the multitudes of sc2 games to try and worry about foreign bw atm (it's hard to decide which tournaments qualify etc).
it's not something that cna be stepped into lightly. it's a huge time commitment, so if people are considering trying to do it, you need to be aware that its something you should be committed to and understand what you're diving into. |

Well I'm pretty sure at least the ISLs should deserve a spot.
How much work is it tho? |

I agree that getting VODs is difficult as it often requires to edit videos. But the first step is to create a database of players and matches. Some information is already present in Liquipedia, so the task is to organize it in one database. |
